my first scooter was a B reg px 125 bought from the scooter house in Canton.
Even then I remember riding home from Landaff Tech in the rain and the lights packing up.
But i hav'nt lost the bug and now riding around on a T5 and now enjoying it because I want to rather than I had to.

I had a raleigh chopper when i was a kid, i covered it with stickers.

I had tassles hanging from the handle bars and put those plastic things in the wheels which made that annoying sound as the wheels went round. Pulled a wheelie once me and the bike went one way and the front wheel went the other.  Huh Roll Eyes Grin

First scooter was a 50 special CMA 275X. 30 MPH flat out but I loved it. Swapped it eventually for a vespa 90 with a 125 Prima Vera engine fitted. Decided to smarten it up a bit so painted it in gold hammerite with a paintbrush!!! I remenber the electrics were fucked so I had pushbike lights on it for when it went dark.

first bike was also a 150 super and also bought for £50 (that was obviously the going rate). It was built like a tank with 8 inch wheels, I only really rode it up and down the road a few times as I was only 15 or 16 when I bought it, sold it for a down payment on a brand new PX125E, which I had crashed before I was even legally on the road. Before long I'd cut it down extended the forks, fitted beedspeed drops, sprayed it, fitted a long stroke crank and a 177 kit, 28mm dellorto and various pipes, cut the back end off - then fitted lambretta forks etc etc etc - moved on to Lambrettas after that well GP's anyway.
