RE: auto 250 4t conversions
Here's the one it's ending soon but even after the auction you can still see the orginal listing , it has a 125cc motor cross engine fitted , hate to say it but it doesn't look a good job was done .

the man whose doing these conversions is dave Wilson he runs retrotech racing in leamington spa.go on facebook and type in either of those and have a look at what he does looks awesome.i have enquired a conversion and waiting to hear from him on price and parts needed.i have tried salvage sites for a complete Honda or piaggio 250 scooter had a bid on a cn 250 but got out bid.if anyone knows of a Honda cn250 or piaggio x8 250 hexagon 250 please let me know.im not good with computers so if anyone wants to post pics from his websites here that would be great.i have been looking at Honda fes 250 engines with horizontal cylinders the engine mounts are it the right place but not sure if theres enough room for barell head looking for a cheap engine to size it uk.

RE: auto 250 4t conversions
couldnt find a 250 4 stroke engine so bought a piaggio hexagon 125 lc with drum brake and 10 inch wheels.anyone had a frame converted to accept a piaggio engine.i did ask on auto lambrettas on facebook but frank sanderson keeps saying his way is the only way.i know theres a guy from cardiff or barry doing them anyone had 1 done.i like the look of the 1 where you keep the original frame tube and cut out and box in the bottom for clearance.
