Air Filter
I've got open mouth carbs on my imola and my Mugello. Was thinking about fitting a filter to the Mugello as Its on a series 2 and theres more room.
Thing is, I`ve got the jetting pretty much spot on and I don`t want to strangle it.
So has anyone used a breathing sweet or any other filter that has minimal restriction ???

Very little room on the S3 ( imola ) so I don`t think that ll ever work.
Even one of those stick on the side panel ones that I don`t think are going to work as the bike bounces about a lot ??

Does that make sense to anyone else ?

RE: Air Filter
Breathsweet and the large conical foam, drop the jetting slightly and do the plug thing.

RE: Air Filter
I've tried breathesweet filters and cheap copies on my avanti. Always ended up using genuine breathesweet ones, all the others strangle the performance.

RE: Air Filter
Well, I take your point , there`s genuine Ramair ones which will fit for a tenner .
I have long range tanks in both scoots so cant really use a hose on the PWK.
What do you think ?

RE: Air Filter
Yes you are right I know ....Its just getting the bloody thing to fit my old style MB manifold ( which faces forward slightly ) with the long range tank etc etc.
I just don`t like the idea of hose + filter just flapping about on top of the flywheel cover .
